Damp patches on the walls are usually caused by penetrating moisture, meaning that water from outside is seeping through the exterior cladding to the frame and walls, leaving this bumps and bubbles in the interior walll finish. Normally, we rush to fix or cover up these defects. However, in the ‘Humedad’ serie, these imperfections are instead highlighted as a dialogue between the space we inhabit and the natural conditions that surround us. This serie explores the beauty and complexity of these often-overlooked details.
